Emenda aprovada pela Câmara dos Deputados vai à sanção presidencial
O Senado aprovou na noite de quarta-feira 4 a medida provisória (MP) que aumentou o valor mínimo do Auxílio Brasil para R$ 400. O texto torna esse piso permanente. O projeto havia sido aprovado na Câmara dos Deputados, na última quarta-feira 27, por 418 votos contra 7. Agora, a matéria segue para sanção presidencial.
De acordo com o governo, o aumento foi permitido por conta da aprovação da Proposta de Emenda à Constituição dos Precatórios. Anteriormente, o valor médio do auxílio era de R$ 220.
A MP previa que a cifra extra seria válida até dezembro deste ano, mas o relator do projeto na Câmara, João Roma (PL-BA), acatou a emenda do deputado Hugo Motta (Republicanos-PB) que tornou a extensão do auxílio permanente.
Estimativas feitas pelo parlamentar indicam a necessidade R$ 41 bilhões ao ano para bancar aumento do benefício, quase o mesmo valor usado para pagar a parcela inicial do Auxílio Brasil (R$ 47,5 bilhões).
